Adopting a Cat

All cat adoptions will adhere to the following prices and regulations

There are currently no city ordinances concerning cat ownership. However, the LCHS encourages people to care for their cats responsibly. A lack of city ordinance for cat owners does not exempt a person from charges for animal cruelty. Nor does it excuse a person from being a good neighbor by making sure your cat is not being a nuisance to your surrounding neighbors. Be a good owner, and a good neighbor by taking proper care of your cats.

Tip of the Day

Anti-freeze is extremely toxic to pets (and people). It has an attractive taste and only a small amount can cause kidney failure and/or death. Treatment is only effective if administered in the first 48 hours. Please be mindful of puddles caused by leaks or from flushing your radiator.
