If you see your pet on this page, please contact us as soon as possible with the ID number listed along with your pet. All retrieved animals will be held for 5 days. We make every effort to contact the owner, if known. We maintain a no-kill shelter. After 5 days, the animal becomes the property of the LCHS, and as such, adoption fees will apply when claiming your pet. We may be reached at (970) 520-2804.
If you are a cat owner and have concerns about declawing your cat, ask your veterinarian about Soft Paws. They are plastic nail covers that you can put on the claws of your cat that prevents them from causing damage.
